Alexander, eight Laird of
Pitcairn and Innernethy, succeeded his father Henry, Alexander
resigned his lands of Innernethy by a charter dated 6th March 1453
in which Alexander de Petkarne of that Ilk .... Evidently to be
returned to his son James and ALice his wife.
